Multi-company groups

Every company you run, in one ERP.

Droot ERP runs many companies in one installation. Each keeps its own books, GSTINs, roles and approvals, trade between them is handled as intercompany business, and the group closes with consolidation that handles eliminations, currency translation and minority interest.

Built for groups

What a group needs, in the core.

None of this is an add-on: it is how Droot ERP keeps books for more than one company.

Separate books
Each company posts to its own ledgers through dated rules, with its own fiscal years, GSTINs and Schedule III statements. Parallel ledgers carry IFRS alongside local GAAP.
Intercompany trade
Sales between your companies follow transfer price rules, stock in transit is tracked between them, balances are netted, and a reconciliation cockpit shows what does not match.
Consolidation
Group statements with equity elimination, minority interest and currency translation (CTA), across multi-level group structures.
Group view
Key figures for every company side by side, with a consolidated column, on the overview your leadership opens each morning.
Per-company controls
Roles, approval flows and segregation-of-duties rules apply company by company, and the audit trail is tamper-evident.
Apps per company
Each company switches on the apps it needs: a plant runs manufacturing, a trading company runs warehouse and pricing, a services company runs projects.
Who it's for

Groups like yours.

Promoter groups

Several companies under one family or promoter, often in different industries, that want one picture without merging the books.

Holding and subsidiaries

A parent with subsidiaries that reports consolidated numbers, including minority interests and foreign-currency companies.

Companies that keep adding entities

Businesses that open a new company for each new line, state or project, and want each new one on the same platform instead of a new system every time.

Questions

Questions about running a group.

Can one Droot ERP installation run all our companies?

Yes. Many companies run in one installation, each with its own books, GSTINs, roles and approvals, and a group view across them.

How does consolidation work?

Consolidation runs across your group structure, including multi-level groups. It eliminates equity and intercompany balances, calculates minority interest and translates foreign-currency companies with a currency translation reserve.

How are sales between our companies handled?

As intercompany trade: transfer price rules set the price, stock in transit is tracked between the companies, balances are netted, and a reconciliation cockpit shows anything that does not match.

Can each company use different apps?

Yes. Apps are switched on per company, so a plant, a trading company and a services company can each run what they need on the same platform.

Can each company have its own users and approvals?

Yes. Roles, approval flows and segregation-of-duties rules are set per company, and a person can work across several companies with different rights in each.
